Short version: PrompterCast does not collect, sell or share your personal data. Your texts and videos stay on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app stores

• Your texts (speeches, scripts) are stored only on your device. If you enable iCloud for PrompterCast in a future version, they are synced through your own iCloud account, which we cannot access.
• Your videos are saved to your Photos library. The app keeps no copy.
• Settings (style, text size, speed and similar) are stored on your device.

Microphone and speech recognition

When the text follows your voice, PrompterCast listens through the microphone and uses Apple's speech recognition to understand which words you are reading. Whenever your device supports it, recognition runs on the device and no audio leaves it. For languages that your device cannot recognize on its own, Apple may process the audio on its servers under Apple's Privacy Policy. PrompterCast itself does not record, store or send this audio anywhere.

Camera

The camera is used only when you turn it on to record a video. Recordings are saved to your Photos library and are not uploaded by the app.

Files

When you open a Word, PDF, RTF or text file, PrompterCast reads only the file you choose and copies its text into the app. It does not access other files.

Purchases

If the app offers purchases, payments are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

PrompterCast does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.

Коротко: PrompterCast не збирає, не продає й не передає ваші персональні дані. Ваші тексти й відео залишаються на вашому пристрої. Немає облікових записів, реклами, аналітики й стеження.

Що зберігає програма

• Ваші тексти (виступи, сценарії) зберігаються лише на вашому пристрої. Якщо в майбутній версії ви ввімкнете iCloud для PrompterCast, вони синхронізуватимуться через ваш власний обліковий запис iCloud, до якого ми не маємо доступу.
• Ваші відео зберігаються у вашій медіатеці «Фото». Програма не залишає собі копій.
• Налаштування (стиль, розмір тексту, швидкість тощо) зберігаються на вашому пристрої.

Мікрофон і розпізнавання мовлення

Коли текст рухається за голосом, PrompterCast слухає мікрофон і використовує розпізнавання мовлення Apple, щоб зрозуміти, які слова ви читаєте. Якщо пристрій це підтримує, розпізнавання відбувається на самому пристрої, і звук нікуди не передається. Для мов, які пристрій не розпізнає самостійно, Apple може обробляти звук на своїх серверах відповідно до політики конфіденційності Apple. Сама програма PrompterCast цей звук не записує, не зберігає й нікуди не надсилає.

Камера

Камера працює лише тоді, коли ви вмикаєте її для запису відео. Записи зберігаються у «Фото», програма їх нікуди не завантажує.

Файли

Коли ви відкриваєте файл Word, PDF, RTF чи текстовий, PrompterCast читає лише вибраний вами файл і копіює з нього текст. Доступу до інших файлів програма не має.

Покупки

Якщо в програмі є покупки, оплату повністю обробляє Apple. Ми не отримуємо ваших платіжних даних.

Діти

PrompterCast свідомо не збирає жодної інформації ні від кого, зокрема від дітей.

Зміни

Якщо ця політика зміниться, нову редакцію буде опубліковано на цій сторінці з новою датою.
